GN Qazi's paintbrush gives life to forgotten places and capture silent moments that touches every person during their lifetime. His current works reveals a prominent balance. He has reached the sensibility to dramatize simple situations with ordinary things. He added a little imagination in his new paintings regarding vegetation and small lakes and streams flowing near a neighborhood with houses having old architecture. The Ancient architecture and design of old buildings inspires Qazi a lot. He loves heritage of the country and try to create awareness about such sites which need attention.

The old fort, a holy shrine and clock tower, the rusted balconies, the dusty streets, and the roof tops having wind catchers in his paintings reminding the bygone days is a signature style of Qazi. This time he adds shady trees and foliage for greenery and stagnant rainy water for shade in his work, which gives a new charm to his paintings

An imagination blended with realistic situations, depicts an overwhelming energy in his paintings. With well defined lines, balanced by light and shadows the stately nostalgic works offer viewers a somewhat different perspective of the rural life with deep red and ochre background. He works in a broad range of colours and tones but tends to focus on one range of hues in each painting, from red, ochre to creamy pale yellows and deep blues.

His work becomes more appealing and attractive with the renditions of the clusters of houses having colourful laundry in the balcony, pigeons and bright-hued kites flying in the sky, the clouds floating slowly in the sky and the people busy in their daily routine chores. Thus he reveals all elements of every day life experiences of common people.

His paintings mainly contain scattered traditional buildings and old architecture reflecting our past glories side by side. The paintings show various times of the day - noon and evening bathing in sunlight while night scene depicts shadows creeping into the dark making a dramatic situation.

The detailed structures of buildings signify maturity he has gained over the years. He has achieved the sensibility of exposing the subject effectively.
