Artist’s statement

I work primarily in watercolors and acrylic, I use watercolor in my paintings to capture light, softness and vibrancy. I am never found without a sketch book in hand so I am constantly drawing, and later I develop my sketches into more in-depth ideas and detailed images.
Though I work quite deliberately, consciously employing both traditional and innovative techniques
I use watercolour in a loose and flowing style. I like to see energy and movement in my paintings.
