The Prism of Life

Akram Spaul has made an indelible mark among the prominent artists of our era. The current oeuvre is the continuation of his earlier theme of super realistic paintings of architectural relics, windows, arches, clotheslines and a lots of other house hold objects. His artworks are a real treat for a connoisseur's eye and are such a pleasure to behold. One doesn't see the persons living behind these Jharokas and windows or using tables, chairs or clothes but could feel their presence. All this still life has a soul which has a hidden narrative for the onlooker. He has a knack for picking vibrant backgrounds and brilliant eye catching colours. Akram had several successful solo and group shows during his career spanning over several decades.
