The whole experience of viewing a blank canvas in front of you and exploring the ideas that can be depicted on it, is terribly exciting. The possibilities are immense- with a blank canvas you can let your imagination loose and portray what you want, however you want it.

I have always loved drawing/ painting human figures- I love to capture the contours of the body and expressions of the human face, and depicting my subjects in true oriental splendour. So in terms of discovering the artist within, I knew what I wanted to do since I was very young.

2013 October: Solo show at The Second Floor, Karachi, called ‘Hero Worship’ based on cricket legends.

2013 July: Group exhibition of 99 artists at Creative Art Gallery, ’99 Names of Allah’

2013 Feb onwards: Bride Series Displayed at La Anthurium Gallery, Karachi. (February 2013)

2013 January: Painting ‘’Myself in the Mirror’’ displayed at the Sadequain Gallery in Frere Hall, Karachi, as part of the Sadequain Awards Exhibiton.

2012 September: Participated in group show called ‘’Jumma Hafta Art Bazaar II’’ at The Second Floor (T2F), Karachi.

2012 May-June: Group Exhibition at Grandeur Art Gallery, Karachi- Bride series displayed.

2011 December: Works displayed at the ‘’Art Masquerade’’ in Emerald Mall, Karachi.

2011 July: International Exhibition: Group exhibition in ‘Kesisme’ municipality/ cultural centre in Istanbul, Turkey along with Lebanese, South African and Turkish artists.
