My name is Aina Adnan, I was born in a small city of Sindh named Hyderabad, I am studying at an art university named SABSU (Shaheed Allah Bux Soomro University of Arts, Design and Heritages) previously known as CEAD (Center of excellence Arts and Design) University I have received a distinction in my final thesis display which was based on roses and nostalgic

memories I am an advocate for individual freedom, and I use my paintings as a means to express my opinions Realistic art is what I focus on My favorite subject to paint are flowers, roses to be precise Since I was a child, I have been fond of roses which is why I really enjoy painting them.

Artist Statement

“La Vie En Rose It is the French way of saying I am looking at the world through rose colored glasses Audrey Hepburn. This work is an extension of my childhood olfactory memory association with Roses I have painted affectionately since I was a little girl This particular

flower was the focus in all of my paintings Therefore my work is an amalgamation of two distinct techniques of paintings as I wanted to recall my childhood days while living through the present times I have attempted to evoke the feeling of nostalgia via art.
