I am Ayesha Yousuf Bhatti. I graduated in Textile design in 2009 from Indus University. Right after joining a firm as a designer, I was diagnosed with Carpal tunnel syndrome. I was strictly advised to stop working. It took me a while to understand that the only thing that gives me happiness is my art. So, I started an art and design studio by the name of Rough idea in 2018. After completing a diploma from Indus Valley School in 2021, I am back and doing what I love.

Art has always given me a sense of calmness, being heard, recognized and loved. That’s the main inspiration behind all my work. I love textures and colors. I find great fascination among the natural formations of colors and textures together. Even though, as learning never stops for me, I keep trying different mediums and genres. My main focus always settles down on textures and colors. With a textile design background my aim is to create the beauty of my favorite visuals, textures, patterns and colors.
