Women's participation in the field of arts and culture has assumed an upwards trend. This trend has been accepted as an important index to measure female empowerment. For women, the field of art and culture provides a dynamic platform to boldly present opinions about their identity and rights within parochial societies.

Despite diversity of perception and palette, these women are unrelenting to demonstrate passion to serve their communities through expressive works of art that unravel the mysteries of contemporary life.

The Emancipated Woman

In the wake of gruesome pandemic, the role of women worldwide has been the center of attention with a renewed focus on domestic challenges, corporate leadership, cultural activity and media production. Notwithstanding however, female empowerment is still being evaluated by the women’s achievements in political, economic and educational domains. 

In recent times, women’s participation in the field of culture and arts has assumed an upwards trend. This trend has been accepted as an important index to measure female empowerment. For women, the field of art and culture provides a dynamic platform to boldly present opinions about their identity and rights within parochial societies - the social order that continues to reject the enormous potential of creative women. Tendencies such as these necessitate deliberation on the role of creative females, the prospects and difficulties they are challenged with, and the various resources that are available to them in their respective societies. 

Despite diversity of perception and palette, these women are unrelenting to demonstrate passion to serve their communities through expressive works of art that unravel the mysteries of contemporary life.
